Threat & Program Management

You already have the tools.
Now build the AppSec program around them.

Your SAST, DAST, SCA, and vulnerability management already show you the risk. Conviso Platform turns it into a program: modeled threats, maturity measured against OWASP SAMM, and history documented in one place. No more side spreadsheet only one person knows how to update.

Why your AppSec program still lives outside your tools

An AppSec program run on spreadsheets

Your scanners and vulnerability backlog already map the risk. What's missing is the program itself: policy, roles, threat modeling, and maturity history in one place, instead of scattered across files nobody keeps current.

One workshop, then the threat model goes stale

Threat modeling takes a specialist and days of meetings, so it happens at launch and rarely again. When the architecture changes, the model falls behind, because redoing it costs too much.

Maturity you can't prove

The board and auditors want AppSec posture data. Without a structured history you can compare cycle over cycle, someone rebuilds the answer from scratch every time they ask.

Turn the risk you've mapped into a documented program

Threat & Program Management starts with the risk Conviso Platform already consolidates by asset, from Conviso scanners or the tools you already run. Then it turns that risk into modeled threats and program maturity you can trace from the asset up to the board.

01

See the threat behind the finding

Build threat models by hand, or let AI generate them from your architecture diagram or product documentation, tied to the risk Conviso Platform already tracks for each asset. When the architecture changes, a new model no longer waits on another workshop. Generating from documentation is on Advanced and Enterprise plans.

02

Measure maturity against an industry standard

An OWASP SAMM assessment, run as a guided self-assessment in Conviso Platform or with Conviso experts, shows where your program stands today and what to tackle next cycle. Results are saved, ready to compare with your last assessment.

03

Document the program, retire the spreadsheet

Policy, roles, improvement backlog, and maturity history live in Conviso Platform, versioned and traceable, so you're ready when the board or an auditor asks.

What your CISO gets

A documented program that turns the risk you already see into modeled threats and maturity you can report on.

Board and audit answers, already on file

Security policy, roles, improvement backlog, and program history live in Conviso Platform, versioned and comparable cycle over cycle.

Threat Modeler Assistant removes the expert bottleneck

AI drafts the threat model from your product documentation. Your specialist reviews and refines it instead of starting from a blank page. On Advanced and Enterprise plans.

A Security Gate that enforces program policy

Set blocking rules by asset or severity and enforce them as program policy across every repository, not as a one-off setting in a single tool.

Every dependency inventoried automatically

SBOM and XBOM are generated from your repositories and kept current. When a new vulnerability hits a component, your team sees which applications use it without digging through repo after repo. XBOM is on Advanced and Enterprise plans.

Built for teams with security operations already running

Just getting started with scanning? Start with AI Secure Code or Vuln Intelligence, and add Threat & Program Management when your program calls for it.

For AppSec teams ready to move the program off spreadsheets

Scanning and vulnerability management already run in Conviso Platform or in your own tools. Now policy, roles, and threat modeling get documented right alongside them.

For companies that need to prove maturity to auditors

Maturity measured with OWASP SAMM, recorded evidence, and an auditable program for PCI DSS, regulators, or customer security reviews.

For engineering orgs with multiple teams and products

Threat modeling per product, a configurable Security Gate, and SBOM coverage without manual work.

Plans for every stage of your program

Priced by asset volume in annual tiers. No surprise bills.

Frequently asked questions

We already have a scanning tool. Does this replace it?

No. Threat & Program Management pulls its results into a single workflow that answers two questions: what your organization's risk looks like across its applications, and where your program stands on OWASP SAMM maturity.

Does AI keep the threat model up to date on its own?

No. AI generates the model from your documentation and architecture. When the application changes, your team generates a new one, no workshop required.

Who runs the SAMM assessment?

Your own team, as a guided self-assessment in Conviso Platform, or Conviso experts when the program needs support. Either way, results are saved and comparable across cycles.

Is this a one-time assessment?

No. Your program runs and stays documented in Conviso Platform on an ongoing basis. SAMM is one piece of it, not the whole product.

Is it a fit if we're just getting started?

Usually not. If you don't have scans running yet, start with AI Secure Code or Vuln Intelligence.
